Some of our favorite Southern California Blogger Moms (clockwise from upper left): Shelley (in green shirt), my Madeline, Michelle (mother of Tenley but Tenley is hiding), Joanne, Gillian and Charlotte (Shelley's girls), and yours-truly (in turquoise shirt) with Gwenny tucked in behind.
We went to Kids Place in Pasadena today. It was pretty fun! There's an interesting indoor area and an equally impressive outdoor area with lots of interactive stuff, water activities, bikes, building blocks, etc.
Gwen donned a construction helmet and got busy "building". But frustration got the best of her and we were lucky to catch this nice action pic of her impatience.
After Kids Place, we drove several hours East until we hit Hemet. This is where I worked for 13 years before giving up this little piece of paradise and moving to San Jose to marry Andrew. It was six years since I'd seen many of my old (and wonderful) friends so I was too excited about our meeting to remember to pull out the camera. And Andrew was too busy chasing the girls around my old office to think about grabbing it.
After an hour visit, we climbed back into the van and headed to Riverside to have dinner with Vicki Sue and Laura (my former Maid of Honor and Bridesmaid). This picture is proof that even five gorgeous women can produce a photo without even one single person looking like they're still alive.
It feels so good to catch up with old friends and visit the places in our former lives.
