Gwen's travel group to China consisted of 38 families and, each year, we try to get together for a reunion. Last night, we had met at Bill's church for dinner and play-time. It was fun to see how much the kids have grown in the last year! And, of course, great to see all of the parents again.
All the families met up the next day in Hermosa Beach at a local park for a picnic. The kids played in the sand and water tables and climbed on the playground equipment while the parents were able to comfortably observe them while carrying on a good conversation. (Great venue, Marilyn!) Mother nature cooperated and gave us the most comfortable weather of our entire trip.
Later, we drove to Carlsbad and checked into our hotel room just in time to snap this picture of the sunset through the window.
It was so good to see you guys too! Can't wait for next year:)
