Surprise!

We threw Michael a surprise party for his 21st birthday.  We told him we were taking him to dinner and when he stopped by the house, I asked him to help me carry something from the kitchen.  As soon as he turned the corner, everyone screamed "surprise!"  I wasn't totally sure we managed to keep this a secret from him but he said he really was surprised! 

Michael's girlfriend, Kelsey, was in on the whole thing and she came up with the idea of a pirate theme.  She helped pick out all of the decorations and invited all his friends.  We really couldn't have done this without her!  Thanks, Kelsey!

The "cake". Michael has never liked cake so each year he gets a pie - usually keylime. This one is keylime cheesecake!  It was amazingly good!
