Preschool Graduation

Today was Gwen and Maddy's last day in Preschool.  Starting Monday, they're in the Kindergarten class!  They've been going to this school since they were three years old so it's not much of a change but it's going to help transition them into public school Kindergarten in August.  Even so, it still feels very significant.

Gwen was surprised about the "promotion" and kept making sure I knew that she was still four years old.   When I told her that she was going to Kindergarten because she's a big girl, she informed me that her teeth haven't popped out yet (something we once made the mistake of telling her would happen when she was a big girl).

Maddy is just fine with all of this as long as Gwen is in there with her.  We'll see how she does in August  when she and Gwen are separated.  Is the policy in our school district that twins are not in the same class.  We still have a couple of months to help her get used to that idea.
