Saturday: Arrived in Guangzhou

We've arrived in the Garden Hotel in Guangzhou, shown to the left. The lobby is expansive and extravagant. The rooms are really nice: modern Asian feel, with cool wood furniture built on multiple levels. The only downside is the mattresses. Let's just say that around the lumber yard, the boards call one another "stiff as a Guangzhou mattress." We're going to be here for a couple of weeks, so we're all unpacked for a protracted stay.
